Reddington drew attention to a November 2022 trip Patrick made to New York, occurring roughly six weeks before the children’s deaths. He questioned whether Lindsay might have acted during his absence.
“If she wanted to kill the kids she could’ve done it that time when you were out, right?” Reddington inquired.
Patrick described his ex-wife as experiencing severe anxiety and sleep deprivation in 2022. Her legal team pointed out instances where she would sit on the sofa rocking while keeping her head covered beneath a pillow.
The Tom Hall Connection
Earlier in the trial, it emerged that Lindsay had used Patrick’s tablet to look up information regarding suicide. During cross-examination, Reddington asked whether Patrick recognized the name Tom Hall.
Patrick explained that Hall was a musician whose records he had searched for online. The musician passed away by suicide in 2021. According to Patrick, he navigated to Hall’s Wikipedia page and accidentally clicked a hyperlink that led to content about various suicide methods.
On re-direct examination, Sprague attempted to establish that Lindsay was more likely the one accessing the suicide-related information.
Character Testimony and Anniversary Dinner
Patrick characterized Lindsay as a devoted and caring parent who engaged in numerous activities with her children, including reading stories, composing songs, and attending musical instruction together.
“She was very dedicated. She did everything,” Patrick stated during his cross-examination testimony.
Reddington also addressed a dinner and massage Lindsay supposedly received to mark her anniversary, occurring slightly more than a month before the children’s deaths. When asked whether this event took place, Patrick responded that they remained at home instead.

Earlier Wednesday morning, jurors heard the 911 call placed on the day of the tragedy. Two other witnesses had already testified before a two-hour afternoon recess, after which Patrick returned to the stand for further questioning.
At 2:15 p.m., Patrick resumed his position on the witness stand for Reddington’s continued cross-examination. The divorced father, who has since remarried, had initially been excused following emotional direct examination about the day his children were killed.
Judge William Sullivan dismissed the jury for the day following Patrick’s testimony. The Plymouth Superior Court proceedings are set to continue Thursday morning at 9 a.m.
